Jesús is an Associate at Asali, which he joined in 2023. Since then, his practice has focused on civil, commercial and constitutional dispute resolution.

He is actively involved in a broad range of civil and commercial litigation matters, as well as in arbitration proceedings and related court litigation. In several cases, he has successfully advanced constitutional principles and fundamental rights before the federal courts. His practice spans matters across the real estate, maritime, insurance, construction and waste management sectors, among others.

Jesús is currently engaged in a number of complex commercial disputes. Notably, he is involved in litigation between a private company and a public trust concerning the operation of a sports complex located in a major tourist destination in Mexico. He is also part of the team representing a company seeking payment under an insurance policy, together with compensation for the financial and reputational damage arising from the insurer’s refusal to indemnify.

Jesús presently represents a prominent Mexican journalist in the defence of her rights in proceedings against a state-owned public entity, securing interim relief preventing the impairment of her proprietary rights. He also participates in the defence of freedom of expression on behalf of a group of journalists and academics in the context of a defamation claim.

Jesús obtained his LL.B. from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), where he also served as a research assistant in constitutional law within the Law Department.
