Francisco Lobato

Francisco joined Asali as an Associate in 2025.

Since joining Asali, he has participated in civil and commercial litigation, as well as in commercial arbitration across various sectors. He is currently part of the team representing a multinational company in an arbitration proceeding in the construction industry, related to the installation of a submarine cable.

Prior to joining the firm, he gained more than two years of experience at a renowned law firm specializing in civil and commercial litigation and commercial arbitration, and collaborated for six months at an international firm focused on international arbitration.

Francisco holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. During his studies, he was a member of the representative team at the Willem C. Vis Moot—the most prestigious international commercial arbitration competition—where he earned an Honorable Mention as Best Oralist. Francisco is fluent in Spanish and English.
