Manuel García Pimentel

Manuel is a senior associate of Asali, which he joined in 2015. Manuel is extensively experienced in corporate and shareholder disputes, insolvency proceedings, and disputes related to the banking and insurance industries.

Manuel has led arbitrations governed by CAM and CANACO rules, as well as several complex matters before courts and tribunals in civil and agrarian matters, among others. Manuel successfully obtained the lifting of an injunction aimed at paralyzing all corporate activities of an important real estate company listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange, with a capitalization of over USD 150 million. Manuel currently represents a Mexican government-owned trust in a property claim for real estate with an acquisition cost that exceeded USD 100 million.

Prior to joining the firm, Manuel was part of renowned firms specialized in civil and commercial litigation, international arbitration and corporate matters.

Manuel graduated summa cum laude from Escuela Libre de Derecho, and holds a master’s degree in Private Law from said university. Manuel is fluent in Spanish and English.
