Felipe Solís

Felipe is an associate of Asali, which he joined in 2020. Felipe has participated in disputes related to the energy, telecommunications, banking and real estate sectors.

Felipe has been involved in civil, commercial and constitutional litigation in different judicial instances, as well as in commercial bankruptcy and arbitration proceedings before national and international courts. Among other matters, Felipe was part of the team that successfully defended the interests of a conglomerate of companies in the media and entertainment industry, by lifting an injunction that allowed the merger between two leading companies in the market to go through.

Felipe recently successfully represented a transportation company in an arbitration of more than USD 100 million related to the effectiveness of a take-or-pay clause for the operation of a transportation and storage contract at the country’s largest thermoelectric plant.

Felipe represented a smart cities developer in an UNCITRAL arbitration against a Fortune 500 technology company.

Felipe holds a law degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), where he graduated with honors. Felipe speaks Spanish and English.
