Alina is an associate of Asali, which she joined in 2019. Alina has focused her practice on disputes related to the insurance, banking, energy, food and telecommunications industries.

Alina has been actively involved in civil and commercial litigation proceedings and arbitrations handled under ICC, LCIA and UNCITRAL rules, as well as in proceedings related to interim measures in connection with arbitration, enforcement and annulment of arbitral awards before state courts. Alina represented a Mexican insurance company in a commercial litigation proceeding, where in a transnational mining company claimed the payment of several million dollars for damages suffered in certain uninsured areas of a mine, which ended in a favorable negotiation for the insurer and an order for the payment of costs against the opposing party. Currently, Alina advises the Mexican branch of one of the most important banking institutions in Spain in a dispute against one of the leading supermarket chains in Mexico that is worth over USD 75 million.

Alina graduated summa cum laude from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). Alina is fluent in Spanish and English.
